Football season is here and you know what that means – tailgating, game watching parties, and lots of amazing food! One the reasons I look forward to this time of year is the chance to try out new appetizer and snack recipes. It’s always fun to find something that is a big hit and everyone enjoys.
Football game days are the perfect opportunity to hang out with family and friends and cheer on your favorite team. Whether you are tailgating or at home watching from the comfort of your couch, enjoying delicious food makes the day even more fun. It’s fun to prepare recipes ahead of time or during breaks and surprise your guests with cheesy, crispy, spicy, sweet, goodness. And when plates and bowls are scraped clean you know you’ve found a favorite.
I love searching online for creative and classic recipes and that’s why I’m excited to share this collection of 15 Hearty Apps & Snacks. There are a number of fantastic recipes here that are perfect football food and are sure to have everyone smiling as they cheer on their team.
Which one do you want to try first? Buffalo Chicken Dip is easy and always a crowd favorite. Pizza Puffs and Pizza Roll Ups sound marvelous and a fun new way to serve pizza. I know Dave would love the Baked Jalapeno Poppers and I always love good Ham and Cheese Sliders. Love these! I’ve tried making pizza crescents before, but the crescents end up all soggy from the sauce. I think I’m totally doing it wrong! I’d love to try making the meatball sub cups and the pizza puffs!
